Vote BRANT for Madison County Supervisor!
Why am I Running for Madison County Supervisor?
I am available. I can (and will) make this position number one, without distractions of a full-time job and it is something I am very capable of doing.
I see the need for a champion of all Madison County Residents. I know we need more transparency and that we can do better.
I want to protect our county from being exploited from fear of economic obsolescence.
I am most intrigue by the office of Supervisor because I feel our county government does not need a politician, but rather an ethical, passionate, competent businessperson as an addition to the folks already there.

A Fresh Voice to Bring About Continuous Improvement
Positioning Our County to Grow
We in Madison County have the unique opportunity to enjoy beautiful country alongside a productive agriculture industry. We are also blessed to see entrepreneurial efforts rewarded by a community that understands how to support local business. “I want to work to protect these opportunities and blessings while looking to the future.”. As we enjoy our community, we also need to be sensible as to what resources & income are needed to keep our schools, infrastructure, and way of life intact. We must be creative enough to not just take the quick buck from outsiders that have far reaching consequences, but to rather fully tap into our own resources. I will work to find creative solutions to the challenges and needs of Madison County. I will work to fully tap into our own resources. I will advocate drilling down and always having continual improvement front of mind. I will listen to and evaluate “outside the box” ideas.
Transparency and Communication
As you can imagine traveling around Madison County, I am getting an ear full. Please understand, that I am absorbing, weeding through the emotion, and filtering for the facts. Having said that, we can do better. Managing employees and departments for the better part of my 25-year career, there is a balance. The balance is between helpful, truthful communication and too much information. Lack of follow through and changes that are not communicated only serve to damage reputation and reliability. If there is perceived impropriety, that needs to be addressed...not by witch hunt and lawsuits, but by honest & direct mediation.
Funding and Fiscal Management
Early on in my career I learned all about payables, contracts, RFPs, scope of work, and creating new G/L accounts to the level of revamping a system so that when we provided our report to the owners, they could easily draw the conclusions they needed. We had to forecast and make market assumptions out five years. We conducted S W O T analysis; identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. All of this goes into sound financial management of a county...because like an asset, you are accountable to the STAKEHOLDERS.
Help me do this for Madison County!
